Series of events

In the winter semester 22/23, the Tsvetaeva Centre organized the series "The Other Russia. Signs of the future". The events featured voices speaking out against the war in Ukraine and the spread of lies in Russia.

In the summer of 2022, the volunteer group "Engaged Freiburg" in cooperation with the Tsvetaeva Centre conducted the project "German Regioculture for Ukrainian Children and Youth". The project was funded by the Kulturstiftung der Länder.

In the summer semester of 2022, the Tsvetaeva Centre organized the lecture series . The recorded lectures of the series can be found here.

After Russia's invasion of Ukraine on February 24, 2022, the Tsvetaeva Centre positioned itself against the war. As part of the event series "The Other Russia", in which critical voices from Russia had their say, more than 5,000 € in donations were collected, which were handed over to the Ukraine Aid of the University Clinic Freiburg.

In the fall of 2021, the Russian Cultural Days Trilateral on the 200th birthday of Fedor Michajlovič Dostoevskij took place in Freiburg, Baden-Baden and Basel. In Basel, the double exhibition: Dostoevskij. FrauenBilder / Holy Women. Demons. Dead God was shown as part of the event series.

On November 6, 2019, the opening of the Russian Culture Days took place in the auditorium of the University of Fribourg. The series of events was entitled "Culture - Transfer - Dialogue". . As part of the series of events, the University Library of Freiburg hosted the exhibition "Moscow is not Berlin. The Fate of a Novel: Mikhail Bulgakov's The Master and Margarita.

In the fall of 2017, the Tsvetaeva Centre organized a series of events lasting several weeks under the theme "Search for traces. 100 Years of the Russian Revolution". As part of the series, the University Library of Freiburg hosted the exhibition "Last Messages. Letters of Fathers from the GULAG” .
